BingX EU secures MiCA license for EEA crypto services

BingX EU received the MiCA license from Austria’s FMA, enabling regulated crypto services in 29 EEA countries. Launch dates and service details are yet to be announced.

BingX EU (MEGE zweite GmbH) has secured the Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA) license from the Austrian Financial Market Authority (FMA). This approval enables BingX EU to be listed in the European register of crypto-asset service providers and to operate under the European passport across 29 countries in the European Economic Area (EEA). The license marks a significant milestone in BingX’s European expansion, allowing the company to offer regulated brokerage, custody, and crypto-asset exchange services within a unified regulatory framework. This framework emphasizes transparency, security, and investor protection. While BingX EU has not yet announced the launch date for these services or specified which will be available first, the license does not cover futures trading, and the company must cease offering USDT by January 8, 2027. This achievement underscores BingX’s commitment to regulatory compliance and responsible growth in Europe, serving both retail and institutional clients.
