Binance Secures Full Regulatory Approval in Abu Dhabi, Reshapes Global Operations

Binance has secured full regulatory approval from Abu Dhabi's FSRA, enabling global operations through a new multi-entity structure from January 2026, enhancing transparency, compliance, and user protection.

Binance has received comprehensive regulatory approval from Abu Dhabi's Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA) under the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), allowing it to operate its global platform through a new multi-entity structure starting January 5, 2026. The restructuring will see Binance operate as a recognized investment exchange, clearing house, and broker-dealer, with each entity handling specific services such as spot and derivatives trading, custody, and OTC trading. This marks the first time Binance.com itself is fully authorized under the UAE’s regulatory framework, providing enhanced legitimacy, transparency, and user protection. The move is expected to boost institutional confidence and aligns Binance with traditional financial market structures, reflecting its commitment to compliance and responsible innovation. Users will experience a seamless transition, with updated terms of use and privacy notices reflecting the new structure. The regulatory milestone positions Abu Dhabi as a central hub for Binance’s global operations and is anticipated to attract significant institutional investment to the region.
