Taurus secures MiFID II license for EU crypto services
Taurus secured a MiFID II license from CySEC, enabling regulated tokenized asset services and secondary trading for banks and asset managers across the EU.
Taurus has obtained a MiFID II investment license from the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission, establishing a regulated hub for investment services across the European Union. This license allows Taurus to offer MiFID-compliant investment services for tokenized financial instruments, such as bonds, fund shares, equities, and structured products, to banks and asset managers in all 27 EU member states. With this approval, Taurus can facilitate secondary trading of tokenized assets, providing institutional clients with legal certainty and seamless cross-border access. This milestone builds on Taurus’s existing regulatory foundation, including its FINMA license, and strengthens its position in the growing market for regulated digital asset services in the EU. Taurus already partners with major financial institutions and aims to deliver integrated solutions by combining regulatory compliance with advanced technology.
