Brazilian Orchestra to Transform Bitcoin Price Data Into Live Music
Brazil will host a live orchestral concert that turns real-time Bitcoin price data into music, using an algorithm to guide the performance. The project is tax-incentivized and aims to raise $197,000 by year-end.
Brazil has approved an experimental orchestral project that will transform live Bitcoin price data into musical performances. The initiative, permitted under the Rouanet Law, allows the project to raise up to 1.09 million reais ($197,000) from private donors and companies, with contributions being tax-deductible. The concert, scheduled to take place in Brasília, will feature an orchestra using an algorithm to convert real-time Bitcoin price movements and related technical data into musical notation, shaping melody, rhythm, and harmony during the live performance. The project aims to provide audiences with an auditory experience of Bitcoin’s volatility, blending traditional orchestral instruments with data-driven compositions. Fundraising for the project is set to conclude by December 31, and the event is classified under the “Instrumental Music” category, which determines the application of tax incentives.
