LayerZero (ZRO) surges, faces resistance and token unlock

LayerZero (ZRO) rallied over 16% to $2.48 before pulling back into resistance. Volume spiked, and analysts warn of a possible correction as a major token unlock nears.

LayerZero (ZRO) has seen a robust rally since mid-September, more than doubling in price and peaking near $2.48 before settling in the $2.26–$2.32 range. The token now faces a multi-month resistance zone between $2.45 and $2.60, an area that previously capped upward moves. Despite the recent pullback, ZRO remains well above its September lows near $1, with weekly gains close to 20% and daily gains reaching 16%. Trading volume has increased sharply, indicating heightened speculative interest. Technical indicators show strong but potentially overextended momentum. Analysts highlight a rising wedge pattern, which could signal a price correction if resistance holds. Additionally, a major token unlock of 23.63 million ZRO—almost 6% of the circulating supply—is set for October 20, adding uncertainty. Key support levels are at $2.15 and $2.09, while a sustained move above $2.50 could open the door for further gains.
