Upbit lists six tokens—CYS, ICNT, XAN, EDEN, AIOZ, ALLO—on BTC and USDT markets. CYS surged 220% pre-listing. Trading delayed to 20:00 KST with initial buy restrictions.

Upbit, South Korea's largest crypto exchange, has announced the listing of six new tokens—CYS, ICNT, XAN, EDEN, AIOZ, and ALLO—on its BTC and USDT markets. Trading is scheduled to begin at 2:00 p.m. KST on August 10, although the launch was later delayed to 8:00 p.m. KST. For the first two hours, only limit orders will be accepted, with buy orders initially restricted. These tokens span various sectors, including ComputeFi, DePIN-based cloud infrastructure, decentralized operating systems, non-custodial lending, Web3 infrastructure, and decentralized machine intelligence. The listings are seen as a strategic move to broaden Upbit’s market offerings and attract a wider range of traders. Notably, Cysic’s CYS token experienced a price surge of over 220% in the week leading up to the listing, with most gains occurring before the official announcement. This has sparked speculation about the timing and impact of new listings, highlighting the volatility associated with such events on Upbit.
