Fidelity: Bitcoin nears key support, signals accumulation
Fidelity analysts say Bitcoin is nearing key support, with indicators suggesting a potential accumulation phase, but no clear rebound catalyst is present.
Bitcoin is nearing a significant long-term support level tracked by Fidelity, with its price approaching the lower boundary of the projected 2026 range. The power law support line is estimated between $56,488 and $58,000. Analysts, including Jurrien Timmer, highlight that Bitcoin may be entering an accumulation zone, as several indicators show exhaustion levels similar to those at previous cyclical bottoms in 2018 and 2022. Despite recent weakness and repeated failures to break above $65,000, buyers have managed to defend the $60,000 area. Currently, there is no clear catalyst for a rebound, and the asset may continue consolidating near support. Fidelity’s power law model, used since 2015, shows Bitcoin trading well below its trendline—a pattern historically associated with market bottoms and accumulation phases.
