Ventuals shuts down: settlements, withdrawals, next steps
Ventuals will shut down, settle all HIP-3 markets, and let vHYPE holders redeem HYPE 1:1 plus yield. Users must withdraw funds by September. The team joins another Hyperliquid project.
Ventuals, a trading platform built on Hyperliquid, has announced a gradual shutdown of its operations. The team will transition to another project within the Hyperliquid ecosystem. Ventuals was recognized for enabling 24/7 trading of private market assets, including pre-IPO shares of OpenAI and Anthropic, and has processed over $650 million in trading volume since its late-2025 mainnet launch. All HIP-3 markets deployed by Ventuals will be settled and halted for trading between June 15 and June 18. Pre-IPO markets for OpenAI and Anthropic will be settled at $1,341.80 and $1,618.90, respectively. vHYPE holders can redeem their HYPE tokens at a 1:1 ratio plus accrued staking yield, with withdrawals available starting June 19. The shutdown only affects Ventuals-deployed markets and does not impact Hyperliquid’s core exchange. Users are advised to complete fund withdrawals and wallet export procedures by September. All points and promotional programs have ended, and no token will be issued.
