Brian Armstrong bullish on Bitcoin’s long-term future

Brian Armstrong remains bullish on Bitcoin, seeing it as digital gold and expecting its price to rise well above $60,000 by 2030. He maintains his long-term position despite recent volatility.

Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong has reaffirmed his bullish stance on Bitcoin, expressing strong confidence in its long-term potential despite recent market volatility. Armstrong believes that Bitcoin has likely bottomed near the $60,000 mark and anticipates its price will be significantly higher by 2030. He described Bitcoin as the "new digital gold," emphasizing its role as a cornerstone of the future economy. Armstrong referenced Bitcoin's historical four-year cycles, noting that alternating periods of growth and correction have remained consistent since 2011. He attributed the recent price dip partly to increased investor interest in AI stocks but reiterated his commitment to holding Bitcoin for the long term. His comments came as Bitcoin rebounded above $65,000 following positive geopolitical developments. However, analysts caution that a sustained recovery will require stronger trading volumes. Armstrong also highlighted the expanding crypto market, which now includes stablecoins, derivatives, and broader financial applications beyond just Bitcoin.
