Google Cloud was a major growth driver, posting a 63% annual revenue increase due to strong demand for AI infrastructure and solutions, and now holds a $460 billion backlog. Google Services, including Search and YouTube, also performed well, with advertising revenue reaching $77.3 billion. Alphabet raised its quarterly dividend by 5% to $0.22. The robust results pushed Alphabet shares up by as much as 3.9% after the announcement. Amazon exceeded Q1 expectations with EPS of $2.78 and net sales of $181.5 billion, impacting market sentiment around NVIDIA’s market cap.
