Tom Lee: Mini crypto winter ends, Ethereum eyes $60K
Tom Lee predicts the end of the mini crypto winter and sees Ethereum reaching $60,000, driven by tokenization and AI. BitMine’s large ETH holdings reflect strong confidence in Ethereum’s future.
Tom Lee, speaking at Paris Blockchain Week 2026, described the recent downturn in the crypto market as a "mini crypto winter" that is already ending. He remains bullish on Ethereum, predicting it could reach $60,000, with a theoretical fair value of $62,000 in the coming years. Lee attributes his optimism to two main factors: the growing tokenization of traditional assets by financial institutions on the Ethereum network and increasing demand from autonomous AI systems for neutral, public blockchain infrastructure. BitMine Immersion Technologies has been actively accumulating Ethereum, now holding 4.875 million ETH, which represents 4.04% of the total supply. Lee also noted that the recent crypto slump was unusual, as it did not coincide with a broader bear market in equities. He believes equity markets have bottomed following the US-Israel war with Iran and expects a new bullish cycle for Ethereum.
