Binance delists tokens, triggers sharp price drops

Binance will delist BONK/BRL and ME/FDUSD pairs on March 20, 2025, and eight tokens including LRC and IDEX on April 1, 2026, after a routine review. The news triggered sharp price drops for affected tokens.

Binance has announced upcoming delistings on its trading platform. On March 20, 2025, the exchange will remove the BONK/BRL and ME/FDUSD spot trading pairs, citing poor liquidity and low trading volume as part of its routine market review. This change will affect traders using the Brazilian Real and First Digital USD stablecoin for these assets. Additionally, Binance will delist eight tokens—Arena-Z (A2Z), Ampleforth Governance Token (FORTH), Hooked Protocol (HOOK), IDEX (IDEX), Loopring (LRC), Neutron (NTRN), Radiant Capital (RDNT), and Solar (SXP)—from all spot trading pairs at 03:00 UTC on April 1, 2026. The announcement led to immediate price drops, with some tokens losing over 16% of their value. Binance’s decision follows its periodic asset review process, which considers factors like development activity, liquidity, network stability, and regulatory compliance. Withdrawals for the delisted tokens will be supported until June 2026. These actions highlight the vulnerability of smaller-cap tokens to exchange decisions and underscore the importance of meeting platform standards.
