Upbit listings spark SKR, ESP rallies; Binance backs CTK

Upbit listed SKR and ESP, sparking price surges of 65% and 120%. Bithumb listed ESP. Binance will support a Shentu (CTK) upgrade, suspending deposits and withdrawals temporarily.

Upbit, a leading South Korean cryptocurrency exchange, has listed Seeker (SKR) and Espresso (ESP) tokens. Trading pairs for both tokens are now available in KRW, BTC, and USDT. The SKR listing went live on February 24, 2025, at 7:00 a.m. UTC, while ESP trading began at 17:00 KST. Bithumb also added ESP to its KRW market. Following these announcements, SKR surged 65%, with its price rising from $0.018 to $0.032 and trading volume jumping over 317% to $61.87 million. ESP soared over 120% to a new all-time high, with futures volume up 687% to $1.98 billion and daily active addresses reaching 2,019. Both tokens saw strong trading interest and increased network activity. Separately, Binance announced support for a network upgrade and hard fork on the Shentu (CTK) network. Deposits and withdrawals for CTK will be temporarily suspended starting February 25, 2026, at 3:00 PM, though trading will remain unaffected.
