Binance-Backed YZi Labs Bets Big on Genius Trading’s Privacy Terminal
YZi Labs invested over $10 million in Genius Trading, a privacy-focused, multi-chain trading terminal. Changpeng Zhao joined as advisor. The platform aims to unify trading across blockchains, emphasizing privacy and execution quality.
YZi Labs, the investment arm associated with Binance, has made a substantial investment exceeding $10 million in Genius Trading, a startup developing a privacy-focused, self-custodial trading terminal that operates across more than ten blockchains. As part of the agreement, Changpeng Zhao has joined Genius Trading as an advisor. Genius Trading aims to provide a unified trading interface for spot, perpetual futures, and copy trading, aggregating liquidity from blockchains such as BNB Chain, Solana, Ethereum, Base, Avalanche, and Sui. The platform emphasizes privacy by using multiparty computation to create wallet clusters, allowing large trades to be split across hundreds of addresses, reducing traceability and protecting trading strategies. The investment is intended to accelerate development, expand liquidity, and launch a public beta of the privacy layer by the second quarter of 2026. Genius Trading positions itself as an on-chain alternative to centralized exchanges, focusing on execution quality, privacy, and user ownership without plans to launch its own blockchain or token.
