VelaFi raised $20 million in Series B funding to expand its stablecoin-powered financial infrastructure across Latin America, the US, and Asia, aiming to enhance global settlement systems and regulatory partnerships.
VelaFi, a stablecoin-powered financial infrastructure platform under Galactic Holdings, has secured $20 million in a Series B funding round led by XVC and Ikuyo, with participation from Alibaba Investment, Planetree, BAI Capital, and other global investors. This brings VelaFi’s total funding to over $40 million. Founded in 2020, VelaFi has established a strong presence in Latin America and is now expanding into the United States and Asia. The company’s platform connects local banking rails, global transfer networks, and major stablecoin protocols, enabling enterprises to conduct fast, compliant, and cost-efficient cross-border payments. VelaFi offers enterprise-grade infrastructure, including on/off ramps, pay-ins and pay-outs, multi-currency operations, FX workflows, and secure asset management, accessible via its platform or API integrations. The new funding will support regulatory licensing, technology enhancements, and regional partnerships, positioning VelaFi as a bridge between traditional finance and digital settlement systems. The company has processed billions in payment volume for hundreds of enterprise clients, with demand accelerating globally.
