OKX Trading Volume Skyrockets 53x After US and EU Expansion

OKX's trading volume in regulated markets soared 53-fold in 2025 after expanding into the US and Europe, with daily active wallets doubling and decentralized exchange volume up 262%. Spot Margin trading also launched in Europe.

OKX experienced a 53-fold surge in trading volume across regulated markets in 2025, driven by its expansion into the United States and the European Economic Area. The platform's focus on compliance and securing key licenses, such as the MiCA license in Europe and regulatory entry into the US, led to a doubling of daily active wallets, with around 190,000 new wallets created each day. Decentralized exchange volume on OKX rose by 262%, while centralized trading increased by 16%. The company attributes this growth to its strategy of prioritizing regulated market access and transparent operations. OKX also launched Spot Margin trading in Europe, offering up to 10× leverage and comprehensive risk controls, further expanding its suite of trading tools for European customers. These developments have positioned OKX as the fourth-ranked global exchange by traffic, liquidity, and volume authenticity, according to CoinMarketCap.
