Galaxy Digital Launches Abu Dhabi Office to Boost MENA Growth

Galaxy Digital opens an office in Abu Dhabi's ADGM, expanding its Middle East presence and aiming to capitalize on the region's digital asset growth and favorable regulations.

Galaxy Digital is expanding its global operations by opening a new office in Abu Dhabi under the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), aiming to strengthen its presence in the UAE and the broader Middle East. This move is part of a broader strategy to capitalize on the region's rapidly growing financial hub for digital assets, supported by a favorable regulatory environment that has attracted major crypto firms. Galaxy Digital, which manages $17 billion in assets and reported a net income of $505 million in Q3 2025, sees the Middle East as a key market for investors and innovation. The new office will be led by Bouchra Darwazah and is expected to foster collaboration and innovation, further establishing Abu Dhabi as a global center for digital assets. The company has also led significant investments in the region, including a $12.2 million Series A funding round in Fuze and participation in a $1.65 billion Solana treasury fund.
