American Bitcoin Corp. (ABTC) has expanded its Bitcoin holdings by acquiring 416 BTC, bringing its total to approximately 4,783 BTC, valued at over $440 million. The purchase was made at an average price of $91,346 per BTC. The company’s Bitcoin reserves, built through a combination of in-house mining and market purchases, now rank among the largest for U.S.-listed firms focused on BTC accumulation. ABTC’s Satoshis Per Share (SPS) metric, which tracks the amount of Bitcoin attributable to each outstanding share, increased by more than 17% in just over a month, reaching 507 as of December 8. The company aims to continue its strategy of long-term value creation for investors. ABTC shares rose 1.5% following the announcement, though the stock has seen declines over the past month. Meanwhile, ProCap Financial also increased its Bitcoin holdings to 5,000 BTC, adding 49 BTC after a SPAC merger, and reported over $175 million in cash for further purchases. Both companies now rank among the top publicly traded Bitcoin holders.
