StandX shuts down, cancels token, announces DUSD airdrop

StandX will shut down, cancel its token launch, and distribute a DUSD airdrop. Trading and yield services end in phases, with all positions closed by January 2027. Airdrop claims run Nov 1–Dec 31, 2026.

StandX, a decentralized perpetual futures exchange, has announced it will gradually cease operations and cancel its planned native token launch after reviewing business and market conditions. Since its mainnet debut in November 2025, StandX served over 237,000 users and reached a peak total value locked (TVL) of more than $200 million. The platform will halt all yield distributions and close new vaults and deposits starting October 15, 2026. Perpetual trading will become reduce-only from October 20, and all open positions will be closed by January 15, 2027. Instead of launching a token, StandX will conduct a one-time, no-lockup DUSD airdrop funded by remaining project revenue and additional team capital. Claims will be open from November 1 to December 31, 2026, with allocations based on user activity and verification to prevent abuse. Liquidity removal from exchanges is set for January 31, 2027, which may impact DUSD’s market price. The shutdown concludes StandX’s operations and returns most revenue to users.
