Securitize unveils tokenized US stocks on Solana

Securitize launches tokenized shares of 12 top U.S. firms on Solana, backed 1:1 by real stocks, preserving shareholder rights, and plans expansion to NYSE and OKXICE digital platforms.

Securitize has introduced tokenized shares for 12 leading U.S. companies—including Apple, Nvidia, Tesla, Microsoft, Amazon, Alphabet, Meta, Netflix, Circle, Strategy, and Palantir—on the Solana blockchain. Each token is fully backed one-for-one by the corresponding underlying share, ensuring that holders retain key shareholder rights such as dividends and voting. Initially, trading will occur on Securitize’s Solana-based platform, with Jump Trading providing liquidity and RQD managing clearing, custody, and settlement services. Securitize aims to expand trading to the New York Stock Exchange’s forthcoming 24/7 digital platform and the OKXICE venue, pending regulatory approval. Token settlements will be conducted in USDC stablecoin, and the offering is available to eligible investors in the U.S., EU, and other authorized jurisdictions. This move aligns with the SEC’s ongoing consideration of regulatory exemptions for tokenized securities and highlights the growing integration of traditional assets with blockchain technology.
