This strategic move provides Robinhood with immediate regulatory compliance and access to Indonesia’s rapidly growing digital asset market, which boasts over 19 million capital market investors and 17 million crypto users. The acquisitions, subject to approval by Indonesia’s Financial Services Authority, are expected to close between the first half of 2025 and 2026. Robinhood plans to maintain existing services for current clients while gradually introducing broader offerings, including access to U.S. equities and cryptocurrencies. The principal shareholder of the acquired firms will remain involved as a strategic advisor, ensuring continuity during integration.
