The investor originally acquired 3,000 ETH in 2017 at an average price of $18.80 per token, investing a total of $56,500. Recently, they sold 2,000 ETH for $6.19 million, achieving an average sale price of $3,096 per ETH. This resulted in a net profit of $8.8 million, representing a remarkable 156x return on the initial investment. Additionally, the investor transferred 1,000 ETH (worth $2.67 million) to Kraken, though this does not necessarily indicate a sale. The investor still holds 1,000 ETH in their wallet. This activity coincides with Ethereum’s best third quarter on record, marked by a 72.7% rally and spot ETH ETF inflows exceeding $689.8 million in the latest week.
