Strategy Inc. proposes daily dividends for preferred stocks
Strategy Inc. proposes daily dividend accrual for STRF, STRC, STRK, and STRD, aiming to boost price stability and liquidity without changing dividend rates or obligations.
Strategy Inc. has announced a proposal to change the dividend accrual schedule for its four U.S.-listed preferred stocks: STRF, STRC, STRK, and STRD. Under the new plan, dividends would accrue every calendar day, including weekends and holidays, with payments issued on the next business day. This proposal, which will be voted on by shareholders at a special meeting on October 28, does not affect the dividend rates or the total regular dividend obligations for these securities. STRC is set to adopt the new daily schedule first, starting November 1, while STRF, STRK, and STRD would transition in January 2027. According to the company, the change is designed to enhance price stability, liquidity, and demand for the preferred shares, while preserving the existing economic structure. Only the dividend record and payment schedule would be modified, with no impact on the underlying financial terms.
