dtcpay raises $25M Series A with SBI Group backing
dtcpay raised $25M Series A with SBI Group as a strategic investor. Funds will expand its stablecoin payment infrastructure and global merchant network.
Singapore-based stablecoin payments company dtcpay has raised $25 million in a Series A funding round, with Japan's SBI Group joining as a strategic investor through its subsidiaries. The round was initially led by Vertex Ventures Southeast Asia & India in April, with participation from Genedant Capital and continued support from Kwee Liong Tek. The new capital will be used to scale dtcpay’s infrastructure, expand its merchant network, and develop new features for its app and enterprise portal. dtcpay provides infrastructure that bridges digital assets and traditional finance, enabling businesses and users to accept, store, and transfer stablecoins. Its platform supports settlement between stablecoins and fiat currencies, aiming to reduce delays and costs typical of cross-border transfers. Operating in regulated markets across Asia, Europe, North America, and beyond, dtcpay also offers Visa-linked cards for stablecoin payments. Founded in 2019, the company previously raised $16.5 million.
