Twenty One Capital Debuts on NYSE With $4B Bitcoin and Unique Metric

Twenty One Capital will list on the NYSE as XXI on December 9, 2025, with $4 billion in Bitcoin. The firm introduces a real-time "Bitcoin Per Share" metric, offering direct equity exposure to Bitcoin.

Twenty One Capital is set to debut on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker XXI on December 9, 2025, following its merger with Cantor Equity Partners. The company, backed by Tether and Bitfinex, will launch with 43,514 BTC valued at approximately $4 billion, positioning it as the third-largest public holder of Bitcoin. Twenty One Capital aims to provide direct equity exposure to Bitcoin, distinguishing itself from traditional vehicles like spot ETFs by introducing a "Bitcoin Per Share" metric. This metric will allow shareholders to track real-time Bitcoin holdings per share, supported by onchain proof-of-reserves for transparency. The firm plans to expand bitcoin-based services and operate with a capital-efficient accumulation strategy. The listing is viewed as a significant step in bridging crypto-native operations with traditional equity markets, offering a regulated avenue for investors to access digital assets and potentially setting a precedent for other crypto-focused companies.
