Ripple Prime launches Delta One for institutional swaps

Ripple Prime’s Delta One lets institutions trade total return swaps on US stocks, indices, and digital assets, expanding its brokerage services and integrating traditional and digital markets.

Ripple Prime has introduced its Delta One business, enabling institutional clients to execute total return swaps on US-listed equities, indices, and digital assets through a unified counterparty and cross-margining platform. This service is designed for hedge funds, asset managers, market makers, and ETF issuers, providing synthetic equity exposure without the need for direct ownership of underlying shares. Delta One marks Ripple Prime’s expansion beyond crypto, FX, derivatives, and fixed income, integrating both traditional and digital asset markets. The platform operates 24/7, allowing institutions to efficiently manage collateral and exposures across multiple asset classes. Supported by a $275 million private placement of senior unsecured notes and the acquisition of Hidden Road, Delta One forms the foundation of Ripple Prime’s multi-asset prime brokerage business. The platform uses a conflict-free execution model, focusing solely on clearing and financing, and aims to enhance institutional investment strategies while strengthening Ripple’s presence in both traditional finance and digital asset sectors.
