Strategy pledges $250 yearly to Trump Accounts for children
Strategy will contribute $250 annually to Trump Accounts for each eligible U.S. employee's child under 18, plus a $1,000 one-time match for newborns from 2025.
Strategy has announced its participation in the U.S. Invest America Business Pledge, committing to long-term investment support for eligible U.S. employees' children through Trump Accounts (530A accounts). The company will contribute $250 annually to the Trump Account of each eligible employee's child under 18, regardless of birth year. For children born on or after January 1, 2025, Strategy will also make a one-time $1,000 contribution, matching the federal government's seed deposit for newborns. These tax-deferred accounts are primarily invested in low-fee U.S. equity index funds, promoting long-term financial growth. The initiative will launch after the U.S. Treasury finalizes implementation rules and the employer-payment infrastructure is established. Strategy's move aligns with Invest America's goals of fostering financial education and savings among the next generation. Other major companies, including Dell, Micron, and Visa, have also pledged support for the program.
