BitMine adds 10,399 ETH, nears 5% of supply, boosts buybacks

BitMine Immersion Technologies added 10,399 ETH, raising its total to 5.8 million ETH (4.8% of supply). The firm also repurchased 4.5 million shares and now holds $11.3 billion in assets.

BitMine Immersion Technologies increased its Ethereum holdings by 10,399 ETH last week, bringing its total to 5,797,813 ETH—about 4.8% of Ethereum’s circulating supply. The company has consistently purchased Ethereum weekly since June 2025, following its "Alchemy of 5%" strategy, which aims to control 5% of all Ethereum in circulation. BitMine’s total assets now stand at $11.3 billion, including $173 million in cash and securities, 209 Bitcoin, $180 million in Beast Industries equity, and a $61 million stake in Eightco Holdings. Of its ETH holdings, 4,917,189 tokens are staked, valued at $9.2 billion, generating an annualized staking yield of approximately $247 million. Additionally, BitMine repurchased 4.5 million shares last week, bringing total buybacks since July 1 to 16.1 million shares. The company was recently added to the Russell 1000 Large-cap index and is backed by several prominent institutional investors. Its Series A Preferred Stock trades under the symbol BMNP.
