Robinhood Q2: Prediction markets surpass crypto revenue

Robinhood posted record Q2 2026 results: $1.31B revenue and $573M net income. Prediction markets outperformed crypto, which saw a 38% drop. Overall growth remained strong despite crypto weakness.

Robinhood delivered a record-breaking second quarter in 2026, reporting total net revenue of $1.31 billion, a 32% year-over-year increase. Net income surged 48% to $573 million, reflecting strong overall performance. Transaction-based revenue climbed to $776 million, up 44%, with prediction markets generating $156 million and surpassing both cryptocurrency and equities trading revenues. Crypto trading revenue declined 38% to $100 million, while equities trading brought in $129 million. Despite the drop in crypto revenue, Robinhood expanded its digital asset business by launching the Robinhood Chain mainnet and acquiring Bitstamp and WonderFi. The company also saw robust growth in new account sign-ups and deposits, with platform assets reaching $369 billion. However, the decline in crypto revenue and increased operating costs led to a negative after-hours reaction in Robinhood's stock price.
