Ethereum Institutional completed its funding round with 100+ backers, including BitMine, SharpLink, and Ethereum co-founders, to boost tokenization, stablecoins, and on-chain infrastructure for institutional adoption.

Ethereum Institutional has successfully completed its initial ecosystem funding round, attracting support from over 100 participants, including BitMine, SharpLink, and Ethereum co-founders Joseph Lubin and Mihai Alisie. The specific funding amount remains undisclosed. The raised capital will be directed toward accelerating initiatives in tokenization, stablecoins, and the development of on-chain market infrastructure. To further its mission, the group has established a supporter alliance and intends to deepen engagement with banks, asset managers, custodians, market infrastructure firms, fintech companies, and sovereign institutions. This initiative is designed to foster institutional adoption of Ethereum by enhancing education, market intelligence, and ecosystem marketing. It also aims to strengthen collaboration with the broader Ethereum community, including L2s, application teams, infrastructure providers, and custody service providers, positioning the coalition as a bridge between traditional finance and the Ethereum ecosystem.
