Ripple and VCs Fuel OpenEden’s Expansion in Tokenized Treasurys
OpenEden secured new funding from Ripple and major VCs to expand its tokenized U.S. Treasurys platform, enhance core products TBILL and USDO, and develop new tokenized financial offerings.
OpenEden, a platform specializing in the tokenization of real-world assets, has closed a new investment round with backing from major trading firms, venture capital funds, blockchain networks, and institutional infrastructure providers, including Ripple, Lightspeed Faction, Gate Ventures, FalconX, Anchorage Digital Ventures, Flowdesk, P2 Ventures, Selini Capital, Kaia Foundation, and Sigma Capital. The funding will be used to scale OpenEden’s tokenization-as-a-service platform, expand its suite of tokenized U.S. Treasurys, and develop new products linked to traditional markets. Core offerings remain the TBILL tokenized U.S. Treasury fund and USDO, a yield-bearing stablecoin backed by Treasurys, both of which have received investment-grade ratings from S&P Global and Moody’s. OpenEden also plans to launch additional tokenized funds, structured products, and a multi-currency stablecoin framework, while integrating USDO into payment networks and building cross-border settlement infrastructure. The company recently appointed BNY Mellon as custodian and investment manager for the Treasurys underlying TBILL.
