Bitmine nears 5% ETH supply; MicroStrategy faces BTC loss

Bitmine Immersion Technologies has boosted its Ethereum holdings by 9,946 ETH in the past week, reaching a total of 5,787,414 ETH—about 4.8% of the total Ether supply. The company’s ETH is valued at over $11 billion, with 85% staked and generating annualized rewards of approximately $254 million. Bitmine also repurchased 6.1 million common shares as part of its $4 billion buyback program. Its total assets, including crypto, cash, and investments, now stand at $11.8 billion. This includes $268 million in cash and marketable securities, 208 Bitcoin, $180 million in Beast Industries equity, and $61 million in Eightco Holdings. Bitmine is close to its goal of owning 5% of the total ETH supply, having achieved 96% of this target in just 13 months. The company’s strategy is backed by notable institutional investors. Meanwhile, MicroStrategy holds 843,775 BTC, currently facing an unrealized loss of about $8.85 billion due to market declines.
