Bitdeer has started building a $36 million electronics manufacturing facility in Sparks, Nevada. This marks the company’s first production and assembly site in the United States. The 187,000-square-foot plant is set to be operational by the end of 2026 and will have the capacity to produce up to 10,000 SEALMINER mining rigs each month. This strategic move aims to strengthen Bitdeer’s supply chain resilience and bring manufacturing closer to its American market, reducing dependence on overseas suppliers. The facility will employ about 70 engineers and technical staff, supporting Bitdeer’s ongoing U.S. expansion and complementing its existing data centers and innovation hub. Following the announcement, Bitdeer’s shares surged over 9%, reflecting investor confidence in the company’s growth strategy. The investment also aligns with Bitdeer’s recent financial initiatives, including selling all mined Bitcoin and planning further fundraising.
