Strategy established a $1.44B USD reserve to cover dividends and debt, while acquiring 130 more BTC, raising its total to 650,000 BTC. The reserve covers 21 months of payments and aims to reassure investors amid market volatility.

Strategy has announced the creation of a $1.44 billion US dollar reserve to support dividend payments on its preferred stock and interest on outstanding debt, funded through at-the-market sales of its common stock. This move aims to reassure investors about the company's ability to meet its obligations, especially during periods of Bitcoin market volatility. Alongside this, Strategy acquired an additional 130 BTC for approximately $11.7 million at an average price of $89,960, bringing its total Bitcoin holdings to 650,000 BTC, with a cumulative investment of $48.38 billion and an average cost basis of $74,436 per BTC. The USD reserve currently covers 21 months of dividend payments, with plans to extend this to 24 months. The company has also revised its 2025 financial guidance, projecting a year-end Bitcoin price range of $85,000 to $110,000 and setting new performance targets. The establishment of the USD reserve has sparked debate among Bitcoin advocates, but Strategy maintains that the move strengthens its resilience and supports its long-term Bitcoin accumulation strategy.
