Bitmine nears 5% ETH supply, Strive grows BTC holdings
Bitmine now holds 5.74M ETH (4.8% of supply), with $235M in annual staking revenue. Strive increased BTC holdings to 19,882, achieving a 24% Q2 yield and $191M in gains.
Bitmine Immersion Technologies has ramped up its Ethereum accumulation, acquiring 42,197 ETH worth about $74 million last week. This brings its total ETH holdings to 5.74 million, representing approximately 4.8% of Ethereum’s circulating supply. The company’s total assets now stand at $11.1 billion, including 206 bitcoin, $527 million in cash and marketable securities, and equity stakes in Beast Industries and Eightco Holdings. Bitmine’s validator network has staked 4.88 million ETH, generating an annualized staking revenue of $235 million, with projections reaching $277 million at full deployment. Its recent inclusion in the Russell 1000 index has broadened institutional investment opportunities. Chairman Tom Lee attributes ETH’s outperformance of bitcoin to optimism over the Clarity Act, which could bring regulatory clarity to crypto markets. Meanwhile, Strive increased its bitcoin holdings by 17.76 BTC last week, totaling 19,882 BTC. The company reported a 24% yield for Q2 and a quarterly BTC dollar gain of about $191 million. As of June 30, Strive held 19,864 BTC valued at $1.165 billion, along with $145 million in cash reserves.
