HashKey Clears HKEX Listing, Targets $500M IPO and Digital Asset Expansion

HashKey Holdings cleared its HKEX listing hearing, aiming for a $500 million IPO. Backed by major financial institutions, it plans to expand its licensed digital asset platform and strengthen its position in Asia.

HashKey Holdings Limited has cleared its listing hearing with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEX), paving the way for a potential IPO that could raise up to $500 million. Supported by major financial institutions such as JPMorgan Chase, Guotai Haitong Securities, and Guotai Junan International, HashKey aims to establish a comprehensive, licensed digital asset ecosystem. The company plans to expand its platform to support over 80 tokens and manage assets exceeding HK$19.9 billion by 2025. HashKey has become a leading digital asset firm in Asia, offering services including trading, on-chain operations, asset management, tokenization, custody, and staking. Its trading volume surged from HK$4.2 billion in 2022 to HK$638.4 billion in 2024, despite reporting a US$99 million loss due to expansion costs. The IPO is expected to strengthen HashKey’s position as Hong Kong’s largest licensed virtual asset exchange and foster further institutional adoption of digital assets in the region. The announcement led to a 13% increase in the value of HashKey’s native token (HSK).
