Avalanche Treasury Co. lists on Nasdaq as AVAT after a $675M SPAC merger, holding 15M AVAX tokens. The firm actively invests in staking and apps, offering regulated exposure to Avalanche.
Avalanche Treasury Co. has started trading on Nasdaq under the ticker AVAT after completing a $675 million SPAC merger with Mountain Lake Acquisition Corp. The company holds approximately 15 million AVAX tokens, accounting for 3.5% of the circulating supply. Its goal is to offer both institutional and retail investors regulated exposure to the Avalanche ecosystem without requiring direct AVAX purchases. Unlike traditional passive treasury models, AVAT will actively deploy capital into staking, infrastructure, and decentralized applications to foster network growth. This active investment approach aims to accelerate the development of the Avalanche ecosystem and attract more institutional interest. The listing, achieved in partnership with the Avalanche Foundation, marks a significant milestone for the network, boosting its visibility and regulatory credibility. Additional Nasdaq-listed products, such as AVAX One Technology Ltd. and ETFs from VanEck and Grayscale, further expand traditional investor access to Avalanche.
