Tempo and Morpho unite for enterprise DeFi lending

Tempo integrates Morpho’s $7.5B DeFi lending, letting enterprises earn yield on stablecoins with curated markets and institutional-grade risk management.

Tempo, a blockchain platform focused on stablecoin payments and backed by Stripe and Paradigm, has integrated Morpho’s $7.5 billion DeFi lending protocol into its network. This move expands Tempo’s capabilities beyond payments, enabling enterprises, fintechs, and payment providers to access on-chain lending and yield generation directly within the Tempo ecosystem. Users can now deploy stablecoin balances into curated DeFi lending markets, benefiting from risk management provided by firms such as Gauntlet and Sentora, and real-time pricing from RedStone. The partnership introduces products like Sentora’s pathUSD vault, which allows lending against cbBTC collateral, letting institutional clients earn returns on idle stablecoin reserves without leaving the platform. Morpho’s modular architecture supports customizable risk and asset parameters, allowing enterprises to select lending pools that meet their compliance and liquidity needs. This strategic integration positions Tempo as a comprehensive on-chain financial platform, reflecting the industry trend of merging payments, credit, and yield services for institutional clients.
