Elliptic secures $120M for AI-driven crypto compliance

Elliptic, a London-based blockchain analytics firm, has raised $120 million in a Series D funding round led by One Peak. Notable investors include Nasdaq Ventures, Deutsche Bank, JPMorgan, and the British Business Bank. This investment values Elliptic between $610 million and $670 million, according to reports. Founded in 2013, Elliptic offers compliance and risk management tools for digital asset transactions. The company serves over 700 customers in 30 countries and screens more than 1 billion transactions weekly across 65 blockchains. Elliptic plans to use the new capital to expand its AI-powered monitoring and compliance solutions. This move reflects growing institutional demand for robust crypto security and compliance infrastructure as stablecoins and tokenized assets become more prevalent. The funding highlights the increasing involvement of major financial institutions in the digital asset sector and the importance of advanced analytics in combating financial crime and meeting regulatory requirements.
