MoonPay has acquired Dawn Labs, an AI trading startup, and introduced Dawn CLI, an AI-powered trading assistant. This tool enables users to create and execute automated trading strategies using natural language commands, making quantitative trading accessible to non-technical users. Dawn CLI is initially integrated with Polymarket, a prediction market platform. Users can describe their strategies in plain English, while the system manages coding, testing, and execution. This simplifies the process of strategy creation, code generation, and trade execution. The acquisition and product launch mark MoonPay’s expansion beyond payments and wallets into AI-driven trading infrastructure. This move aligns with MoonPay’s broader strategy to offer accessible, AI-powered financial tools, following previous launches like an AI Agent stablecoin payment card and an open-source AI wallet standard.
