Capital B raises €15.2M to boost bitcoin holdings

Capital B, a publicly traded company in France, has secured €15.2 million ($17.8 million) through a private placement of 23 million shares at €0.66 each. Each share includes four attached warrants. The round attracted institutional investors such as Adam Back and TOBAM, and was managed by Maxim Group and Marex. Net proceeds of about €14.4 million will be used to purchase an additional 182 BTC, raising Capital B’s total bitcoin holdings from 2,943 BTC to approximately 3,125 BTC. If all warrants are exercised, up to €99.1 million in extra capital could be unlocked. The company reaffirmed its long-term bitcoin accumulation strategy and hinted at further acquisitions to diversify its balance sheet and enhance shareholder value. The private placement is expected to close as early as May 13, increasing stakes for Adam Back, Blockstream Capital Partners, and TOBAM.
