Funding will support first-party products, strategic partners, and infrastructure solutions, with a strong emphasis on institutional markets and autonomous AI agents. Decibel, an onchain order book and perpetuals trading platform, has surpassed $1 billion in cumulative trading volume since its mainnet launch in February 2026. Shelby, a data storage protocol designed for AI agents, is also highlighted as a key priority for the ecosystem. The initiative aims to position Aptos as a leading infrastructure layer for institutional-grade trading and autonomous systems. Planned upgrades include encrypted mempool, FIX and CCXT connectivity, and confidential trading. The stablecoin market cap on Aptos has reached $1.93 billion, while real-world assets on the network have climbed to $1.2 billion, reflecting growing adoption and confidence in the platform.
