21Shares has introduced the first U.S. ETF tied to Canton Coin (TCAN), the native token of the Canton Network, on Nasdaq. The ETF features a 0.50% expense ratio and allocates at least 80% of its assets to Canton Coin and related instruments, granting investors direct exposure to this digital asset through traditional markets. Initial trading saw TCAN priced around $24.76 per share, with a net asset value close to $25. The Canton Network, developed by Digital Asset and backed by major institutions like Goldman Sachs, Microsoft, DTCC, and Deutsche Bank, is a privacy-focused blockchain infrastructure designed for institutional finance. Currently, the network settles over $350 billion in daily repo volume and holds $366.9 billion in tokenized real-world assets, positioning it as a leader in the sector. The TCAN ETF launch highlights the expanding U.S. crypto ETF market beyond Bitcoin and Ethereum, providing regulated access to blockchain infrastructure and tokenized assets for both institutional and retail investors.
