OpenTrade secures $17M to expand stablecoin yield

OpenTrade raised $17M, bringing total funding to $30M+, to expand its stablecoin yield infrastructure. The company surpassed $200M in value locked and targets $1B in volume by 2026.

OpenTrade, a London-based crypto startup, has secured $17 million in a strategic funding round led by Mercury Fund and Notion Capital, with participation from a16z Crypto, AlbionVC, and CMCC Global. This latest round brings OpenTrade’s total funding to over $30 million. The company provides infrastructure for onchain and real-world asset-backed lending, as well as stablecoin yield products. Its solutions enable fintechs, neobanks, and exchanges to offer dollar and euro-denominated stablecoin yields without building their own systems. OpenTrade will use the new capital to expand its infrastructure across both permissioned and permissionless systems, focusing on its permissionless protocol layer and Curation+ framework for regulated, diversified yield strategies. The company has surpassed $200 million in total value locked and aims for $1 billion in transaction volume by 2026, highlighting the rising demand for stablecoin yield products and real-world asset integration.
