Bitmine Immersion Technologies has expanded its Ethereum (ETH) holdings, acquiring 101,745 ETH in the past week. This brings its total to 5,180,131 ETH, representing about 4.29% of the total circulating supply. Bitmine is now 86% closer to its goal of holding 5% of all ETH. The company has staked 4,362,757 ETH, generating nearly $297 million in annualized rewards. Its total crypto and cash assets now amount to $13.1 billion. Bitmine’s aggressive accumulation strategy, initiated in June 2025, has involved consistent weekly purchases, even during market downturns. The announcement of these record holdings and staking revenues led to a 4.16% surge in BMNR stock, closing at $22.79. Management credits this strategy to Ethereum’s growing role in tokenization, blockchain settlement, and AI-driven commerce, positioning Bitmine as a major player in the ecosystem.
