American Bitcoin Corp. has activated approximately 11,298 new Bitcoin miners at its Drumheller facility in Alberta, Canada. This expansion adds 3.05 exahashes per second (EH/s) to the company’s hashrate, increasing its total fleet to about 89,242 machines with a combined capacity of 28.1 EH/s. The new miners operate at an efficiency of 13.5 joules per terahash, enhancing overall operational performance. This deployment completes a previously announced expansion plan and aligns with the company’s strategy to scale hashrate, optimize energy costs, and accumulate Bitcoin at below-market rates. Following the announcement, American Bitcoin shares surged between 12% and 13%, reaching as high as $1.41. Over the past month, shares have risen nearly 49%. The company’s Bitcoin holdings have also grown to approximately 7,000 BTC, valued at over $550 million at current prices. The positive market response highlights investor confidence in American Bitcoin’s growth and operational efficiency.
