Monad (MON) launched its mainnet on November 24, 2025, debuting on major exchanges including Coinbase, Bybit, Upbit, Bithumb, and Kraken. Upbit, South Korea’s leading exchange, listed MON with KRW, BTC, and USDT trading pairs, enhancing accessibility and liquidity for Asian and international markets. The listing process on Upbit includes strict compliance measures, such as verified wallet addresses, network-specific deposits, and temporary trading restrictions at launch. MON’s public sale raised $269 million from over 85,000 buyers, with only 10.8% of the total supply entering circulation, resulting in significant price volatility. The token’s price fluctuated between $0.023 and $0.03 on launch day, stabilizing near its public sale price. Staking for MON began with an initial APR of 15–16%. Monad positions itself as a high-performance Layer 1 blockchain with EVM compatibility, parallel execution, and low-latency finality. Kraken also enabled MON trading, emphasizing network compatibility and liquidity requirements. Regulatory scrutiny in South Korea has intensified, with Upbit implementing detailed compliance protocols for MON trading and deposits.
