Bitwise’s Hyperliquid ETF nears launch with BHYP ticker

Bitwise updates its Hyperliquid ETF filing with ticker BHYP and a 0.67% fee. The ETF features staking and faces competition as HYPE demand rises, signaling a potential launch soon.

Bitwise has taken another step toward launching its Hyperliquid ETF by submitting a second amendment to the SEC, confirming the ticker BHYP and a 0.67% management fee. This move is widely interpreted as a sign that the ETF is approaching its final launch phase, especially as competition heats up among asset managers to debut the first Hyperliquid ETF. A notable feature in the filing is a staking component, allowing a portion of the ETF’s holdings to be staked for additional yield. This sets it apart from other similar offerings in the market. The HYPE token has experienced remarkable growth, reportedly climbing up to 200% over the past year and jumping 65% after the filing news. Although the ETF still awaits SEC approval, analysts believe the finalized details and increasing investor interest suggest a launch could be imminent. Bitwise is competing with firms like Grayscale and 21Shares, all seeking to tap into the rising demand for Hyperliquid-related investment products.
