Stablecoin Development Corp is changing its name and ticker to “SDEV” in April 2026, updating bylaws, and granting equity awards amid high stock volatility.

Stablecoin Development Corp (NYSE:NBY), formerly NovaBay Pharmaceuticals, Inc., has announced significant corporate changes. The Board of Directors approved an amendment to change the company’s name to Stablecoin Development Corporation, effective April 2, 2026. This amendment was filed in Delaware on April 1, 2026. The company will begin trading under the new name and ticker symbol “SDEV” starting April 6, 2026. The company’s bylaws have also been updated to reflect the new name. Shareholder approval was not required for the name change, and shareholder rights remain unchanged. Additionally, on March 31, 2026, the Compensation Committee approved the granting of restricted stock units (RSUs) and performance-based stock units (PSUs) under the 2026 Equity Incentive Plan. These updates come as the company’s stock trades at $1.59, reflecting a 98% decline from its 52-week high, with significant price volatility during this period of transformation.
