Invesco enters tokenized Treasuries market with USTB fund

Invesco will manage Superstate’s $900M+ tokenized U.S. Treasury fund, keeping its blockchain structure. This marks Invesco’s entry into the $12B tokenized Treasuries market.

Invesco, a global asset manager overseeing $2.2 trillion, will assume management of Superstate’s tokenized U.S. Treasury fund, USTB, which currently holds between $900 million and $967 million in short-term U.S. government securities. The transition, scheduled for completion in Q2 2026, will rebrand the fund as the Invesco Short Duration US Government Securities Fund. Despite the rebranding, the fund will retain its USTB ticker, token structure, and smart contracts. Superstate will continue to oversee the on-chain infrastructure, including token issuance and blockchain-based settlement. The fund operates across Ethereum, Solana, and Plume Network, providing near-instant settlement and 24/7 access for investors. This move marks Invesco’s formal entry into the $12 billion tokenized U.S. Treasuries market and underscores a growing trend of traditional finance firms partnering with blockchain-native companies. The transition will not impact current token holders or DeFi integrations, setting a new standard for collaboration between TradFi and crypto-native sectors.
